Transferring/Terminating Employment
In the event you decide to leave the University or your employee status is terminated for any reason, you will need to do the following:
Stop using the card immediately.
Email PCard@ufl.edu the name of the cardholder who is leaving.
Be sure to turn in all receipts for outstanding purchases. Failure to do so could result in un-reconciled charges which might be deducted from your exit paycheck.
What if a Cardholder is Transferring within the University?
Stop using the PCard (for the time being)
Fill out a Cardholder Application Form, check “update”. Include the old and new employing departments. Send it to the PCard Administrator at Purchasing who will notify you when the changes have been made.
Be sure to turn in all receipts for outstanding purchases to the old department.
Caution: The chartfield being charged on your card will not change until the new Cardholder profile form is processed. So charges made before the profile updates are recorded by the PCard administrator will be charged to your old chartfield number.
