Tax Exempt : If you are buying from an in-state vendor, tell the vendor your purchase is exempt from Florida state sales tax. When you were issued your PCard, you were provided a wallet-sized tax exempt card.  If you need another one, request one from PCard@ufl.edu. A full sized copy of the form is available here.

Sometimes vendors want a copy of the Tax Exempt Form. Please note that vendors have the right to accept or deny the tax exemption.

Cardholders are advised to ask out of state merchants to honor the University's tax-exempt status as well. Many states have reciprocal agreements with the State of Florida and will honor our sales tax exemption - but don't worry if an out of state merchant denies your request.
