9.3 Upgrade

November 2009

myUF Market has undergone system upgrades to bring improvements such as enhanced features and better ease of use to end users. These upgrades were implemented on 11/8/2009.

Email Notifications Will Default Based on Role

As of 11/8/2009 email notifications default into user profiles based on the roles users are assigned. These notification selections will be applied to all existing user profiles as well as new users going forward. Default notifications are selected by myUF Market Administrators. However, individual users retain the ability to make individual selections, including the ability to override the role defaults in the user profile.

Note: All email notification defaults can be overridden by the end user if needed.

Supplier Searching Is More Efficient and Intuitive

Throughout myUF Market, Supplier Search boxes provide a consistent “contains” search without the need for a wildcard. For example, if a supplier search is performed on “Grainger,” “WW Grainger, Inc.” will be returned in the results.

Another enhancement provides an auto-complete/type-ahead function providing suggestions in a drop down menu format.

•The “Search for Supplier” field has been updated to “Enter Supplier” to allow for the addition of
AutoComplete/Type-Ahead functionality.

 

 

 

 

 

 

• When the Supplier is selected the preferred location is indicated and is the default, but it can
easily be changed via a new dropdown list that contains all available locations.

 

 

 

 

 

• In Advanced Search on the Home/Shop page the Auto Complete/Type Ahead functionallity has been added.
