Before placement, TempForce performs the following services on behalf of UF under this contract:
Background screening: Included in contract pricing, TempForce conducts public local, state, and federal criminal background screening as well as a selection of paid service screenings to a minimum of ten years of previous locations of residence, employment and/or education. As additional screenings that might be required are identified those are pursued. If necessary for the position, credit history and motor vehicle record screenings can also be performed.
Screenings that require additional costs to UF can be coordinated such as Federal Court System screenings and FBI fingerprint scanning. If your position requires such extensive screening, please discuss these needs with TempForce in advance.
Drug Screening: Included in contract price: TempForce conducts standard 3 panel drug test screening on all applicants. 5 and 8 panel testing available upon request.
Skills Evaluation and Testing: TempForce evaluates candidates using various testing systems including general office aptitude testing, skills and behavioral assessments, and specialty software title assessments in order to evaluate skills of applicants. When a UF need arises, TempForce can confidently assert the candidates skills based on results of these tests. In addition, candidates have the opportunity to enhance their skills through training.
Staffing needs State-wide: TempForce is able to accommodate all of your department's staffing needs throughout the State of Florida through our affiliate offices who have agreed to honor the University of Florida/TempForce contract including prices and services.
