UF Contract for Refrigerators and Freezers

If any Refrigerator and Freezers need to be purchased please use the State of Florida contract.

In order to keep labs in compliance with the various regulations, purchases of refrigerators and freezers must first be approved by Environmental Health and Safety. Any questions about the approval process can be directed to Mark Yanchisin at Mark@ehs.ufl.edu or 352-392-1591 or fax 352-392-3647.

If this equipment will be purchased using a purchase requisition through MyUFL, please indicate if the unit(s) will be used to store flammable solvents, such as alcohol. This needs to be written into the comment section of the requisition. These will be forwarded to EH&S through the E-Procurement system and no further action is needed.
