PIN Numbers - Earlier this year we began issuing chip and PIN cards; they have the new gator skin design.  If you have recently received a new PCard with an embedded chip you should have also received a PIN number in a separate mailer.

If you have a chip card and have not received your PIN mailer you may request a "PIN reminder" by calling the Customer Service phone number listed on the back of your card (888-449-2273). The reminder will be mailed to you at your PCard billing address within 7-10 days.

Cardholders whose cards do not have a chip will receive a chip card when their current card expires. If you do not have a chip card you do not need a PIN number.

Though most vendor terminals do not require a PIN we are finding an increasing number of stores which do.  To avoid any issues when using your PCard it is best to have your PIN number.

The PCard Team does not have the ability to access or obtain PIN numbers on your behalf. 9/29/15

The University of Florida Purchasing Card (PCard) is a corporate credit card issued by Bank of America. Just like a regular credit card, it's fast and easy; no waiting for a purchase order and vendors are paid quickly.

PCards are designed for UF staff, faculty, graduate assisants, and OPS employees who make purchases or travel for official University business. PCards are only issued to individuals whose dean, director, or department head authorizes the requests.

All PCard purchases must have a clear business purpose and be permitted by the funding source. The PCard may only be used for purchases that are reasonable and for appropriate goods or services necessary to accomplish the mission of the University.

All PCard transactions are subject to review by the PCard Team.

In the case of PCard use, it is extremely important the University maintain a positive reputation for being a good steward of all moneys.  It is equally important that sound fiscal processes be in place to ensure the appropriateness of PCard use.

To make purchases in myUF Market using your PCard, your card number must be added to your myUF Market profile.  First you must, log into myUF Market and create your myUF Market Profile, then complete the myUF Market PCard Access Form to submit a request to have your card information added to your profile.
